Dr. Krista Hight is originally from Prosser and completed her education here in Washington. She received her B.S. in Zoology, with honors, from Washington State University, and continued on to finish her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine there in 2011. After graduation she relocated to Georgia, where her husband is from. There she gained four years of experience at two different veterinary hospitals. In 2015, she and her family moved back to Washington.
Dr. Hight is a general practitioner with special interests in acupuncture, surgery, and ultrasound. She enjoys working with cats and dogs. Dr. Hight feels that every pet should be treated with care and compassion, and she focuses on quality medicine, pain control, and preventative care.
Dr. Hight has two dogs, Lucy (beagle mix) and Layla (Scottish terrier mix). In her spare time she enjoys camping, paddle boarding, kayaking, mountain biking, and reading.
