About Our Adoptions
We work closely with Regional Animal Services of King County (RASKC) in particular. We are a temporary home to cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs from RASKC, who are waiting for their forever families! We have helped thousands of pets find new homes during this partnership. You can bring home a new furry family member the same day - adoption is completed on-site with a member of our team! We also offer a free Vet Exam at our Reber Ranch Veterinary Hospital within 30 days of adoption (by appointment only).
We work with additional non-profit rescue organizations by hosting adoption events and pop-ups. Check our events calendar to find out when adoption events will take place!

Regional Animal Services of King County
RASKC provides pet adoption, lost/found, and licensing services to nearly one million residents living in 25 cities and unincorporated King County. Covering a territory of over 1,100 square miles, RASKC staff and volunteers give thousands of animals a second chance at a forever home.
Left Behind K-9 Rescue
Left Behind K-9 Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation organized for the purpose of saving homeless dogs and allowing them a second chance at life through their rescue, transport, foster care, rehab, and adoption programs. Their primary objective is to prevent the euthanasia of healthy dogs by working towards re-homing the abandoned, stray, and neglected ones who are in need.
Old Dog Haven
Old Dog Haven was founded in 2004 to provide safe, loving homes for abandoned senior dogs who have almost zero chance of adoption in a shelter. We do not have a kennel; all our dogs live in homes as members of temporary or permanent (Final Refuge) families. We take dogs 8 years and older from shelters and occasionally from owners in Western Washington. We adopt out dogs that have a reasonable life expectancy; however, more than 90% of our dogs are Final Refuge (permanent foster) or hospice residents – too frail, old or sick for adoption. Old Dog Havens mission is to give these dogs a loving family and good quality of life in their final months, years, weeks or even days. We also assist owners who need to re-home their senior dog and help shelters and other rescues place their seniors. We are a 501(c)(3) IRS charitable corporation and contributions are tax-deductible.
Auburn Valley Humane Society
Auburn Valley Humane Society (AVHS) provides shelter for lost, homeless or abandoned pets as well as pet licensing and resources for pet owners within the City of Auburn, WA. AVHS is a local, independent 501(c)(3) non-profit, which relies on pet licensing fees and donations to fund the shelter and educational programs.
Second Chance Dog Rescue
Second Chance Dogs was founded in July of 2009. It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit designed to help rescue, rehabilitate and re-home abandoned, abused, neglected, or otherwise forgotten dogs into loving forever homes.
